In this class, we will paint a series of subjects inspired by illustration art, using a combination of drawing and painting techniques. The subjects can include birds and nature, semi-abstract cityscape, and a figure in an environment. The class is beginner friendly, so no experience is required as we'll discuss color mixing, underpainting, and working in layers, as well as an intro to color theory. We'll work on canvasses, so by the end of the class you will a collection of pieces ready to display.
